Sometimes we all need a new start. That’s why Clean Slate creates and supports paid work for people who have been looking for a job for a while. We help them put their best face forward, focusing on the role that’s right for them. So when employers ask us to help find them someone, they know we carefully match workers from our pool of unemployed jobseekers. We’re so confident about their abilities, we’ve set up our own enterprises to employ them too.
Clean Slate provides work opportunities in a number of ways:
- We support communities overlooked by employers. We help jobseekers who mean business about finding work to identify and present how much they have to offer
- Our personalised job search and preparation programmes build jobseekers’ confidence, as they work at their own pace towards goals they can achieve
- It’s an employers’ market so our candidates are ready to prove themselves, whether filling last minute staffing gaps, temp placements or full-time permanent vacancies
- We don’t only talk a good talk: Our deliveries and packing project is one enterprise that walks the walk, as is The HandyHelp Co, a joint venture underway in the West of England
