At Clean Slate we understand the challenges of working with and developing people who face barriers to employment. That’s why we offer a range of training and practical solutions to help businesses overcome all the challenges of managing a diverse workforce.
Providing opportunities for those who find it hard to work is more important now than it’s ever been. That’s because employment legislation coming into effect later in 2011 will require businesses to actively support staff growing older, developing health issues or encountering problems outside work that affect their ability to perform.
With 5 years’ experience in employing and managing people that few other employers would trust, we are uniquely placed to prepare you for this legislation and to help you to get the most from your workforce.
Clean Slate works with professional tutors and practitioners to deliver a range of development programmes, together we can help:
- Improve leadership skills for managers and supervisors
- Build communications skills that inspire and engage
- Develop motivation, engagement and effectiveness among staff
- Induct new less experienced staff, ensuring they understand the expectations of employers
- Recruiting, managing and motivating sales staff

Training for jobseekers
Training for organisations is only half of the story. We also support our jobseekers by running a range of interactive workshops. This includes our ‘on-the-job’ programme, which reviews each individuals’ skills, helps them make plans to achieve their future goals - and aids their journey back into employment.
We also help learners get familiar with IT, such as Word and the Internet, then bring all the elements together to create a winning CV that will give them the confidence they need to reach their goals.
