Clean Slate Employment is a recruitment agency with a difference. We provide temp and temp-to-perm opportunities to jobseekers who are just getting back into employment.
We understand that employers often need an extra pair of hands for a few hours a week, or for short periods of time. This perfectly suits the temps on our books who have been out of the job market for a while and who need to build their experience more gradually.
Carefully matched for maximum success
We take a great deal of time matching our workers’ skills, interests and future aspirations to a placement. This means you can expect hardworking temps who are not only suited to your business, but also keen to prove themselves.
We believe you’ll find our temps more dedicated than many of those from other traditional agencies, however Clean Slate workers do require some additional support. We provide all the training possible to make sure our workers are 90% ready for employment, but that last 10% needs to happen in the job itself. This should take no more than 12 weeks.
Making our temps a genuine asset to your business
To make each placement rewarding for both parties, we provide ongoing support and training for your team as well as your new temp worker. All temps receive specialist help from employment support projects. In addition, they undergo quarterly self-appraisals to review their progress, set goals and to ensure everything is on track.

Clean Slate Employment was piloted in the West of England and is now operating in South London and looking to expand to South Wales. The programme is focused on claimants of Incapacity Benefit and Employment and Support Allowance, offering paid hours of work before they come off benefits. Once employed for a short while, many see permanent employment as a viable option.
