Universal Credit Practitioners Forum B&NES

Clean Slate are delighted to be holding the inaugural Universal Credit Practitioners Forum in B&NES for the discussion and exchange of experience on the rollout and development of UC in the west country.

The Forum will be led by Jeff Mitchell, Managing Director of Bath based enterprises Clean Slate Training & Employment and Social Publishing Project.

The meetings will be informal and will focus on how we can help make the UC system work for claimants. We know there are problems and sometimes failings with UC and examples of these will only be used to identifying work arounds, solutions and suggested improvements to DWP. No-one from DWP will be in attendance for the first meeting in order to encourage openness and to give us the opportunity to review how they may be able to help the Forum (and how we can help them) in practical ways going forward.

As space is limited, numbers are limited to one representative per organisation until we have an idea of numbers. To help us keep track of this, please register your interest in attending by clicking below. (However, as it is holiday season, if numbers are low, we will welcome whoever is interested in attending.)
