Time to Take Control – Clean Slate Workers Pitch In

Clean Slate staged its first worker update meeting in London on the 2nd October at the prestigious House of St Barnabas, our partners in Soho. The event was designed to update jobseekers on progress since the collapse of the London Pleasure Gardens (LPG), which left 50 candidates left without employment after being promised stewarding roles at the East London venue. Consulting them about ways to engage other employers, workers identified opportunities to take the lead on fundraising, communications and publicity to create interest among employers.
