Want to join an innovative social enterprise supporting vulnerable people in the West of England? Passionate about social justice and providing people with the practical means to help themselves to improve their finances, housing situation and wellbeing?

Clean Slate is looking for a motivated individual willing to go the extra mile for people in housing need or crisis in the Bath & North East Somerset area. Although a core member of Clean Slate’s team, the post will work as part of DHI’s Reach housing advice team, so your ability to work under your own initiative, as part of a team and remotely promoting our values will be essential. Day to day duties will include the support of individuals facing eviction or requiring help and direction on other housing issues. Although experience is a definite advantage, training is provided and help from a supportive team is ongoing.

Clean Slate is developing a range of programmes to wrap around individuals with housing needs, including employment support for long-term unemployed people and the new ‘3 Bs Service’ delivering financial capability training. An understanding of the multi-dimensional nature of social issues will be important.
